Before you begin ![](https://knowledge.rudolphresearch.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Jun-08-2026-04-41-03-9102-PM.png?width=392&height=156&name=image-png-Jun-08-2026-04-41-03-9102-PM.png) - Record each tube position on the cap, including whether it is connected to the top or bottom location. - Make sure the module is placed on a stable bench surface. - Handle the communication cable and tubing carefully to avoid damage or kinking. Required materials - Windex - Water - Acetone Procedure 1. Note the location of each tube on the cap and where each tube is connected so the unit can be reassembled correctly. 2. Carefully lay the J457 optics module flat on the bench, making sure not to damage the communication cable or kink the tubing. 3. Loosen each fitting on the cap by approximately one turn. 4. Clean the prism in the following order: - First with Windex - Then with water - Finally with acetone 2.
