      Bar code reader is not working

      Customers using an automation bar code reader and a hand held bar code reader may experience and issue.

      Bar code reader beeps when connected to the automation system, the rack turns the sample into position and the software says scanning bar code but the reader does not light up or read. 

      1. Disconnect the handheld scanner
      2. Connect the Rudolph bar code reader first
      3. Confirm the Rudolph bar code reader works
      4. Reconnect the hand held bar code scanner.
