Steps in resolving an issue with the export not being created and has an error. Applies to Autoflex versions 1 and 2 (Version numbers starting with 1 or 2)
Follow the steps below to resolve the issue with an export file not being created and the associated error: Export location is not available during export results. So the results are exported in C:Autoflex\Data\Cache_Data\. Press "Yes" to select a location to move the data file(s). Press "No" to exit.
This occurs if the sample ID is part of export file name and if sample ID is captured using the barcode in AutoFlex.
Problem: Export not being created and has an error.
Cause: The Motorola barcode scanner that is part of AutoFlex will append a CRLF character at the end of the scanned sample id. When barcoded sample id is part of the file name, file creation in Windows will fail due to this invalid character in filename.
Correction: Please scan the barcode in the instrument and this will turn off the above behavior. If you open this file in your phone, please increase the brightness of the screen to maximum.
