      How to calibrate a touch screen on an APII

      Step-by-step instructions for calibrating the touch screen on an APII

      Follow these steps to calibrate the touch screen on an APII.

      1. Select the Menu option
      2. Enter the passcode 123 then press the Login option
      3. Select the Calibration and Service option
      4. Enter the passcode 519 then press the Login option
      5. Select the Instrument Settings option
      6. Select the Control Panel option
      7. Select the Turn Disk Protection Off option. 
        1. The instrument will reboot
      8. Perform steps 1 - 6 again
      9. Select the Touch Panel Calibration option
      10. Select the Tools tab (if using a mouse double click. If not using a mouse touch the tab twice).
      11. The screen will display a red circle and a counter. Touch and hold the red circle until the counter is complete and the red circle moves to the next calibration point of the screen.
      12. Select OK
      13. Select OK
      14. Close the Control Panel window by pressing the red X on the upper right side of the window.
      15. Select the Turn Disk Protection On option
      16. Select Yes
      17. Select OK 
        1. The instrument will reboot.
      18. Test the touch glass to confirm if the calibration resolved the issue.
