How to Delete Log Files on a Density Meter

Follow the steps to delete the log files from a densiy meter.

Step 1 – Getting Ready

Connect a keyboard and mouse to the density meter.

 

Step 2 – Turn Disk Protection Off

  1. Select Menu – if prompted, enter the passcode 123
  2. Select Operational Parameters
  3. Select Instrument Configuration
  4. Select Control Panel
  5. Select Turn Disk Protection Off
  6. Select Yes (the instrument will reboot)

Step 3 – Delete the Log Files

  1. Select Menu – if prompted, enter the passcode 123
  2. Select Operational Parameters
  3. Select Instrument Configuration
  4. Select Control Panel
  5. Select Windows Explorer
  6. Select Local Disk (C:)
  7. Select the Density Folder
  8. Single click to select and highlight the log folder (do not open the folder).
  9. While holding the Shift key, press the Delete key to delete the log folder.
  10. Close out the Windows Explorer window by clicking on the X located on the upper right side of the window and return to the instrument’s main menu.

Step 4 – Turn Disk Protection On

  1. Select Menu – if prompted, enter the passcode 123
  2. Select Operational Parameters
  3. Select Instrument Configuration
  4. Select Control Panel
  5. Select Turn Disk Protection Off
  6. Select Yes (the instrument will reboot)
