Follow the steps to delete the log files from a densiy meter.
Step 1 – Getting Ready
Connect a keyboard and mouse to the density meter.
Step 2 – Turn Disk Protection Off
- Select Menu – if prompted, enter the passcode 123
- Select Operational Parameters
- Select Instrument Configuration
- Select Control Panel
- Select Turn Disk Protection Off
- Select Yes (the instrument will reboot)
Step 3 – Delete the Log Files
- Select Menu – if prompted, enter the passcode 123
- Select Operational Parameters
- Select Instrument Configuration
- Select Control Panel
- Select Windows Explorer
- Select Local Disk (C:)
- Select the Density Folder
- Single click to select and highlight the log folder (do not open the folder).
- While holding the Shift key, press the Delete key to delete the log folder.
- Close out the Windows Explorer window by clicking on the X located on the upper right side of the window and return to the instrument’s main menu.
Step 4 – Turn Disk Protection On
- Select Menu – if prompted, enter the passcode 123
- Select Operational Parameters
- Select Instrument Configuration
- Select Control Panel
- Select Turn Disk Protection Off
- Select Yes (the instrument will reboot)
