Can I install antivirus software on the instrument?

Installing antivirus software on an instrument is not advisable.

We strongly advise against the installation of antivirus software on any instrument. Our instruments are designed with a disk protection feature that may hinder the effective operation of such software. If a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) necessitates the use of antivirus software, we recommend utilizing an external PC kit.
