Installation Tip for a New Barcode Scanner

When installing a new barcode scanner it is important to scan the following barcode prior to running samples.  This barcode will set the scanner to send only data obtained from the labels barcode or QR code.  If this is not scanned extra characters may be added that can interfere with data upload to LIMS or SAP.

1- Remove and unplug old barcode scanner.

2-Plug in new USB barcode scanner.

3-Align the new barcode scanner.

4- Scan the following barcode.
