What is a Cetac 100 % cal. error message
The 100% calibration refers to a calibration of light being transmitted through a clean water filled cell.
When using the automation software to perform a 100% calibration, errors frequently occur—such as “calibration not performed correctly,” or the calibration may appear to complete but fails to save. To ensure accurate calibration and data integrity, please follow the procedure outlined below.
In the density meter automation software:
1. Select "Sampler Control."
2. Choose "Single Sample Load."
3. Load a water sample.
On the colorimeter:
1. Disconnect the USB cable located on the right side of the instrument.
2. Press the "Cal" button, then perform a 100% calibration (blue highlight) until the process completes. Multiple attempts may be necessary.
3. Reconnect the USB cable to the colorimeter.
On the density meter:
1. Power off the density meter and wait 10 seconds.
2. Power on the density meter.
3. Launch the automation software.
4. Perform a system clean using "Sampler Control," or allow the first sample to automatically initiate the cleaning and drying cycle.
