Which printers are recommended?

Which printers are recommended, which should be avoided, installation support and printer drivers.

Which Printers are Recommended? - As of May 9, 2023, we recommend the Brother HL-L2370dw or the Epson Ecotank M1100 for use with Rudolph Research Analytical instruments.
Printer Installation Support - Rudolph Research Analytical can provide printer installation support if needed.
Printer Drivers - we do not provide printer drivers; the customer would need to download the printer driver by visiting the manufacturers website.
Which Printers Should I Avoid? multi-function printers (printers with fax, scan, etc.) and HP printers.
Parallel Printers - we do not support parallel printers.

Legacy (4 digit serial number) polarimeters cannot have a printer connected.
Brother Laser Printer: A23284 (will work with all current domestic instruments in USA or Canada) 120v
Samsung Printer A26292 will NOT work with APIV, APV, APVI, APIZ, AP589, and AP880
Bixolon Serial Printer A22193: 40 column serial printer kit (default small printer) is used for domestic only and will NOT work with any polarimeters
